Simply call the Home Connect hotline and make an appointment for a remote diagnosis of your connected appliance via the Internet. With your permission, the Bosch customer service team can then remotely screen your appliance, locate the problem area and give you the clear advice you need. In the event that the problem can not be solved this way, a Bosch service technician can be informed and come to your home to resolve all the issues, equipped with all the necessary parts already in hand.

Cooktop-based hood control – Steer your hood by your hob
Control the functions of your hood via your hob. Both the electric hob and the associated hood are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, enabling them to interact. As soon as your hob is activated, your hood is also switched on and starts extracting steam as soon as you start cooking. When you’re done cooking, the hood automatically switches off after a brief run-on time, so you can be sure that unpleasant kitchen odours really do disappear. If you want to control the hood directly, just activate manual mode on the hob controls with the touch of a button. You can then control your hood’s power levels via the user interface on your hob. In addition to the extraction rate, you can also control the hood lighting via the hob. With just one set of controls, you control it all: your hob and your extractor hood.
PowerBoost (Induction) – Speed up your cooking
When you want to get quick and easy meals on the table even faster, PowerBoost can help. This practical feature adds a boost of power for ultra-quick heating. Use it on your induction hob to boil large quantities of water – and heat almost 35% faster compared to the highest power level.
Pause function – Drop what you are doing
Sometimes things require your attention while cooking. Now you can easily pause the heating and block all buttons on your hob. Whether it is the doorbell or a phone call, or you just want to wipe up any spills or splashes from the hob surface. Simply continue cooking in the next ten minutes.
QuickStart – Cookings starts much faster
The QuickStart function detects where you have placed the pot and automatically displays the corresponding cooking zone on the control interface. You can get started straight away and select the desired cooking level for your pot without delay.
Restart – Stores your control settings
Have you ever unintendedly switched off your hob and all settings were gone? With Restart the cooktop saves your previous settings and restores them in case you switch your cooktop on again within four seconds.

Induction Technology – Faster cooking, reduced energy consumptionThis is Induction.Induction hobs generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and more convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction hob brings two litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic hob, which also saves a great deal of energy.
